Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine Centers is excited to be opening our Glastonbury location in March 2021. In the meantime, we’ll be offering telehealth services with our clinic Partner & Director, Brian Greer. You can request a telehealth appointment here.

PTSMC Glastonbury is conveniently located close to the highway and a number of restaurants and shops on the main road of Hebron Avenue. We are committed to providing the very best physical therapy care in Glastonbury and beyond, including one-on-one manual therapy, treatment for muscle and joint pain, osteoarthritis, sports injuries, pre and post-op rehab and more.

We accept most insurances; for a full list of accepted insurances click here. Please contact us directly with questions or to schedule an appointment – we have skilled clinicians offering a variety of hands-on services, along with flexible scheduling, and in most cases there’s no physician referral needed for PT!

Partner and Director Brian Greer is one of only a handful of Certified McKenzie Method Diplomats in the state, and one of only a few hundred worldwide! McKenzie Diplomats are licensed experts in The McKenzie Method® of Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy® (MDT), an internationally researched and acclaimed system of assessment and management for spinal and extremity musculoskeletal disorders. Clinicians trained in the MDT system are able to assess and classify all ranges of musculoskeletal problems, including a one-on-one assessment aimed at discovering the various factors that could be contributing to the problem, and a treatment approach focused on putting the power of recovery and prevention back into the hands of the patient. Incredibly knowledgeable team at PTSMC - lots of exercises for home that have made such a difference to my neck and back pain. The therapists are not only competent, they also have a great bedside manner and ensure that the PT experience is a pleasant (and productive) one. They are very respectful of their patients' time - I have never waited beyond my scheduled appointment time and every minute I am there is spent actively tackling my pain. Their front desk staff is very helpful in setting up appointments and do everything they can to accommodate your schedule. Can't recommend them enough!

Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine Centers is an outstanding facility for therapy. The therapists are knowledgeable and concerned about how the client's condition affects his/her everyday activities. They are always pleasant, asking questions about your life and your progress, but diligent in pushing the client to stay on task although the process may be slow and painful. I have worked with Travis Lytle, the director, and Tom Kirsch. Both have been excellent in helping me improve my mobility and meet my goals for a variety of physical issues. The facility itself is bright and clean. Front desk personnel are accomodating and ready to assist with scheduling or insurance questions.

I have gone to PTSMC four times (several sessions per time, so 4 injuries...) and have been very impressed with the operation. The staff, from the front desk folks on through are super nice. If it is possible to have fun while being in pain, it would happen here! While I hope I will not need their services any time soon, they will always but my first choice should I need PT

From start to finish I have been so impressed with Travis and his crew! He was recommended to me by my surgeon and after about 1 month I am officially a “graduate “who is now relatively pain-free! Professional, energetic, knowledgeable... Travis and his staff are top notch. I not only send my patients there when they need rehab, but I've rehabbed my fractured ankle there and more recently a herniated disc in my low back. Came to Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine center to try physical therapy instead of the cortisone shot for a rotator cuff injury. The therapist took my DVD of my X-ray and notes from orthopedic surgeon and listened carefully to what had happened and what my limitations were. He was very careful with my range of motions when testing my ability to move, and had me demonstrate what I could and could not do. After my first visit I could do movements that I had been unable to to at all for weeks. The exercises I was given enabled me to achieve measurable increased movement in the first two days of doing the at home! one. I am so pleased with the progress I have made. Appointments are made easily, the physical therapists and office staff are very kind, and the office has easy access.
