TMD Joint Therapy

Physical Therapy for Temporomandibular Joint Disorder (TMD)

Are you suffering from jaw pain, difficulty chewing or swallowing, frequent headaches, pain behind the eyes or neck pain? You may have Temporomandibular Joint Disorder (TMD).

TMD is a common condition that limits the natural function of the jaw, such as opening the mouth and chewing, and can cause pain and other problems. Fortunately, it can be treated with specialized physical therapy. We are proud to offer TMD treatment at a number of PTSMC locations around the state.

Rocabado’s 6X6 exercise routine for TMD can help to mitigate the symptoms you’re experiencing.* Click to download a helpful guide on how to perform these easy movements.

*we recommend consulting with your physical therapist or another specialist before beginning any new exercise routine.
