Amy, Ted and Chaylea are very personable with their patients and make sure the PT is fit to each one’s needs. Their positive attitudes and explaining of exercises are key! My PT had been very smooth and effective with my injury and they are getting me stronger and better each day.
PTSMC personnel are awesome. They guide you through the rehab process with easy to use exercises. Each session is a step forward to feeling better. I highly recommend this firm!
My experience at this facility has been nothing but positive. Chaylea is able to get you to do what you may have thought was impossible.
Amy has been a wonderfully supportive therapist for my shoulder pain. Great facilities, convenient location. And thanks to Ted for the dry needling as well!
Feel very welcome when I enter the building kind thoughtful and caring people from the receptionist to The therapist
What a great place for PT! The staff and Doctors' are highly experienced, lots of patience and are looking out for what is best for their clients. I highly recommend them!
They truly put the “Care” in healthcare !! My Therapist Amy has set me on a path to recovery from my chronic neck and elbow conditions . Her approach has been incredibly effective so far . She manages to intertwine therapy with information on how and why we are doing the things we are doing to help resolve my pain . For the first time in a long time I am hopeful to return to a daily life that is no longer effected by chronic pain. The premises is always impeccably clean, organized and well equipped. The support staff and therapy assistants like Jocelyn are always, professional, motivating and helpful when finding me an appointment that fits my tight schedule or assisting with my exercises . I would recommend them without hesitation to anyone who appreciates a therapist and team who treats the actual patient and not just their symptoms.
The team at PTSMC is great! Helpful, professional and pleasant to deal with! My therapist is fantastic -- Chayleigh Finn is excellent at resolving my issues!
This is my second time using physical therapy and sports medicine of Branford Connecticut and I must say I would recommend anybody that needs physical therapy to go here. My therapist Amy is knowledgeable understanding and I’m already seeing improvements after a couple weeks and also the front desk is very organized, Michelle does a great job of checking you in and getting you right to your appointment. I highly recommend going here.
Emily is an excellent physical therapist.I highly recommend her and PTSMC in Branford.
I would recommend PTSMCB to any one all the staff are very nice and caring.
Emily is fantastic! Dry needling and PT has helped improve my neck pain and range of motion.
Clean, Polite, extremely knowledgeable, and when it comes to Pt, Colin Ketchel is great, he was and is amazing with my son, he went in there with a sports injury, and Colin always made sure that he cross checked everything he never missed going the extra mile to figure things out to make sure my son wasn't in any pain, always asked how his games were over the weekend, very nice, made my son feel comfortable!! and every aide was great and very helpful. Will definitely go back..
Teddy is such a great guy and Physical Therapist! He helped me tremendously to get my hip healed after an injury. I feel like I have a new hip!!
My husband went in there initially using a wheelchair and came out walking after a month of therapy. That says it all.
The staff is incredible. They truly care about your recovery and well being. Could not recommend more!
Very friendly environment with people who know what they're doing
Ted and his staff of therapists are wonderful. I enjoyed going there for my therapy. Not only are they kind, they are also so welcoming and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend them.
I can’t say enough good things about this place and the staff. Everyone is so professional and really care about getting the patient back to where they were before a surgery, injury or other medical condition. The woman that left a 1 star review wasn’t even a patient for starters. The staff behind the desk are working to help other patients and probably didn’t even see them at the door. I’m sure if they knew they were struggling, they would have gotten up to help. . This is a great PT, with great staff.
Wonderful and knowledgeable staff and a very welcoming environment
I started seeing Ted a few weeks ago. I have TMJ and my doctor suggested PT to help. Ted is nothing short of knowledgeable and personable. All the staff at PTSMC Branford are great and the facility is beautiful. They have really helped me with massage/heat/exercise therapy to improve my overall functioning! Highly recommend
I have been in PT more than 20x in my life and PT&SM in Branford has been the best experience I have ever had. Ted explains everything and no question is a bad question. You are made to feel like you are family and your healing is very important to them. keep doing what you do because I know I will be back. The atmosphere is calm and welcoming everyone is happy.
Great Place and Clean! The staff is Awesome!
Professional and kind staff
Ted is the best as well as the entire team!
I really love going to the brand new facility of Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine in Branford, Ct. Ted the owner is just a great therapist along with being compassionate, he is very caring and thorough. My mom is 94 and has been here post surgery and now for sciatic nerve pain. She is doing great. I am here for an shoulder injury...All of the therapists are very knowledgeable helpful and caring. They are hands on therapist. They don't just put you on a bike and walk away...this is personal, dedicated attention and therapy to make you better like you were before. They are in a new facility which is awesome...The parking is great and it's on a 1st floor direct entrance into the waiting room...If you need help for any reason that involves an injury or aches and pains give them a call. You won't be disappointed.
Recovering from a severe hamstring injury is a slow and sometimes painful process. With massage and designed exercises Ted and his staff at PTSMC helped me to recover the flexibility and mobility that I had before the injury. I highly recommend their services.
Emily did a great job helping me rehabilitate my foot a year after a bad ankle sprain. She provided expert guidance, flexibility with my schedule, and took time to monitor my progress and coach me along the way. I highly recommend this practice!
Professional to the max and expert to the core. Great place for rehab...
After dealing with chronic neck pain and then waking up one morning unable to move my neck, I finally decided to try physical therapy. I only had a month before I had to move to a new city, but I was able to work closely with Colin Ketchel during that time to heal the worst of the flare-ups and establish a set of exercises to continue the improvement. It was a great experience all around and made me think differently and more positively about physical therapy.
As a 73 Year old man with arthritis I still try to hike everyday. After a fall I strained my shoulder and pulled my rotator cuff. Emily Searle has been incredible in helping me regain agility and the ability to raise my arms above the level of my shoulders. I recommend her and assistant Brian along with the whole team at PTSM Stoney Creek
Knowledgeable staff, excellent results, convenient location - highly recommended!
The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Working with Amy made my recovery much quicker than I expected… Great Job!!
The best place I've been to! Staff is amazing!
Love the place its well organized and clean. Everyone is really nice and very professional, Respectful, and always attentive. best place ive been so far. I would definitely recommend this location.Thank you guys for the great service. I appreciate this team.
Staff was knowledgeable, and caring. My condition improved with every visit. Now that I have finished my therapy I have new tools in my toolbox to help prevent future injury and better deal with minor issues should they arise.
They're very helpful and the facility is clean
Highly recommend PTSMC Branford. You will be treated with respect and concern for your particular issues. The staff is friendly and efficient. You will come away encouraged!
Unfortunately my husband and I are in need of PT at same time! FORTUNATELY, we heard about PTSM in Branford Ct. Great location right off Exit 56, or simple fir us Rt80 to Rt139.As for staff, I’m fortunate to have Emily for hip and leg issues and my husband , having Ted for rotator issue. We are seeing success and feeling better after3 weeks and getting our mobility back. A huge factor for me, having PT various times in my life , at 3 different facilities, and now coming to PTSM in Brandeis a life changer. Treatments are thorough and because of this faculty being on a smaller scale the one to one personalized therapy is second to none. My form, comfort or challenge levels are always monitored with Emily or an assistant close by as well as my husbands. Thank you Emily, Ted and staff!!D and T M

1-on-1 assessments, hands-on care, cutting-edge techniques.

All PTSMC clinicians provide hands-on care to their patients. Listening and careful evaluation of each patient’s needs are vital to our patient-centered care model. Spending time with patients throughout the cycle of care, from initial evaluation to discharge, ensures complete satisfaction and successful outcomes. Patient education about injury, treatment and recovery is valued and stressed throughout the rehabilitation. PTSMC clinicians use a combination of expert hands-on care with cutting-edge techniques and equipment to provide world-class treatment to each patient based on their individual deficits, needs and goals.

What do we treat?

Physical therapy is not just an effective way to rehab severe injury or immobility – it’s the go-to healthcare option for anyone dealing with sudden or recurring muscle or joint pain. This includes people of all ages and abilities with sports injuries, back or neck pain, vertigo or balance issues, TMJ jaw pain and headaches, arthritis, knee pain, foot and ankle pain, pre and post-natal issues, post-operative needs, fitness needs, or simply muscle or joint pain that keeps you up all night or keeps you from doing what you love during the day.

NO DOCTOR REFERRAL NEEDED!

With CT’s “Direct Access” laws, most individuals can see a physical therapist without a doctor’s referral. This means you can save time and money by skipping the physician and instead scheduling an appointment with the muscle and joint experts who can assess your issue, identify the root cause of the pain, and create a customized program to get you moving and feeling good again.
