Golf Pain Free Longer Drives
Lower Scores Better Game

The best way to truly improve your performance is through an efficient and healthy body.

TPI (Titleist Performance Institute) is the world’s leading educational organization dedicated to the study of how the human body functions in relation to the golf swing. The TPI screening process identifies inhibited movement patterns and corrects them through prescribed exercises, which allows the golfer to move more efficiently to optimize their golf swing.

PTSMC TPI

PTSMC has a number of TPI Certified Physical Therapists trained to help you play golf pain-free and improve your game.

Golf Therapy is currently offered at the following PTSMC locations:

How TPI Works

The Titleist Performance Institute has developed a comprehensive medical screening process for golfers that is meant to evaluate swing and body mechanics to determine areas that need improvement to help avoid injury and optimize play.

Working towards a successful, consistent golf swing can be a complicated and frustrating process, especially if your swing is causing pain. There are several parts of the body that need to work together with the right motion and at the right time. Sessions with our TPI certified golf therapists can help discover the areas that may be creating problems in this process, from backswing through to impact.

“Golf fitness isn’t about looking like a bodybuilder or the best player on Tour. It’s about being fit to play the game at an individual’s highest level and doing so without causing injury. It’s about understanding how a body’s limitations can influence the golf swing and how to address those limitations through the proper channels; whether it’s through swing instruction, physical rehabilitation or strength and conditioning exercise.”
