Professional, energetic, knowledgeable... Travis and his staff are top notch. I not only send my patients there when they need rehab, but I've rehabbed my fractured ankle there and more recently a herniated disc in my low back. Now my daughter is there rehabbing her knee from a soccer injury. They've taken excellent care of us and my patients every time.

Came to Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine center to try physical therapy instead of the cortisone shot for a rotator cuff injury. The therapist took my DVD of my X-ray and notes from orthopedic surgeon and listened carefully to what had happened and what my limitations were. He was very careful with my range of motions when testing my ability to move, and had me demonstrate what I could and could not do. After my first visit I could do movements that I had been unable to to at all for weeks. The exercises I was given enabled me to achieve measurable increased movement in the first two days of doing the at home! one. I am so pleased with the progress I have made. Appointments are made easily, the physical therapists and office staff are very kind, and the office has easy access.

WATCH: Assistant Director Kasey Adinolfi talks about the difference between vertigo and dizziness, and how PT can treat both.

Vertigo and dizziness often get lumped together, but they are different issues stemming from different problems, and they can both be treated with differing physical therapy treatments and exercises. Kasey Adinolfi, PT, DPT, Assistant Director at PTSMC Southington, visited the Calendar House in Southington to talk about these differences and the ways she would approach treating vertigo and dizziness. This video offers a brief overview of her presentation. If you or someone you know is dealing with any of these symptoms, contact Kasey or any of our 19 locations in Connecticut to get evaluated and find out if PT is right for you!
