Graston Technique
Graston Technique © for soft tissue mobilization
What is the Graston Technique?
The Graston Technique © is a patented form of manual therapy that uses stainless steel tools to perform a deeper, more effective version of soft tissue mobilization than you would receive with typical manual therapy. Trained clinicians use specially designed Graston tools to locate muscle knots or restrictions by running the tools over your skin to feel for fibrous or scar tissue that may be causing you pain or restricting your movement. They then use the tools to break up that tissue to restore mobility and function.
