Orthopaedic Residency Graduates

Andrew Kalach, PT, DPT, OCS, CMTPT is an ABPTRFE credentialed Orthopaedic Physical Therapy residency graduate from PTSMC in 2022. Andrew is Assistant Director of and treats patients at the PTSMC Fairfield location. He serves as a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and Academy of Orthopedic Physical Therapy (AOPT)

Meghan Blanusa, PT, DPT, OCS, CMTPT is an ABPTRFE credentialed Orthopaedic Physical Therapy residency graduate from PTSMC in 2022 and serves as a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA). In addition to treating patients at the PTSMC Naugatuck location, she is a graduate of PTSMC’s Leadership and Management Development Program and is a Development of Clinical Success (DOCS) mentor. She also has completed two of three TDN classes.

Sam McMullen, PT, DPT, OCS, MS, ATC, PES is an ABPTRFE credentialed Orthopaedic Physical Therapy residency graduate from PTSMC in 2021.

In addition to treating patients at PTSMC Southington, Sam is a graduate of PTSMC’s Leadership and Management Development Program and is the Development of Clinical Success (DOCS) Mentorship Coordinator. He has completed two of three Myopain courses for certification in Trigger Point Dry Needling. Sam also co-teaches Manual Therapy courses to ATCs and continues to work per diem in ATC outreach and continuing education.

Tom Kirsch, PT, DPT, OCS, CSCS, CMTPT is an ABPTRFE credentialed Orthopaedic Physical Therapy residency graduate from PTSMC in 2022.

Tom is a director of and treats patients at the PTSMC Avon clinic. He also earned certifications in Graston Technique 1, Myofascial Trigger Point Therapy and Strength and Conditioning specialist.
