Eric has a lot of fun with physical therapy. He was a three sport athlete through high school (football/baseball/basketball), which was the reason he got into PT (torn medial meniscus senior year during preseason football). Through college, he was really focused on running and began his journey towards his first marathon his senior year at PC (3:43.33 finish time). After college, he got into CrossFit then into Olympic Weightlifting. which he competed in the 77kg/169lb weight class at a national level. All these experiences help him with his clinical treatment style, he is a big believer in manual therapy (massage, mobilizations, dry needling, and stretching) to return patients to their highest level of function. He is a believer that educating on the source of the symptoms and the mechanisms that cause dysfunction are a key role to a patient’s success. If you can understand the problem then you can establish healthy protocols to restore your function and preform at your highest level.
