Trigger Point Dry Needling
Training in dry needling equips clinicians with essential skills in foundational techniques. This program not only enhances their practice but also builds confidence and competence, allowing them to incorporate dry needling into their work immediately. Participants will learn about various muscle groups, including those in the lumbar spine, posterior hip, thighs, lower extremities, cervical spine, shoulders, and upper extremities. Instruction emphasizes anatomy, safety, and precautions, while also covering the psychomotor aspects of needling. Additionally, participants will explore the history of dry needling, review supportive evidence, and understand clinical applications and reasoning, as well as the use of electrical stimulation in conjunction with the technique.
