The staff is very polite and professional. Big thumbs up for Nicholas Almonte he's a professional therapist great guy and this is my second time in the last 5 years that I go and see him and he always fix my problem.

Nick and staff have helped me through some very painful injuries and very successful keeping a good quality of life. The staff are all kind, caring and very professional. Nick is very knowledgeable about the body and how it works. I recommend this facility highly.

Highly recommend Shelton PTSMC! I’ve been to PT at other places but never have I had a place give me so many different exercises and be there for an hour or more every time. Lucie and Nick have been really great about listening to my concerns and helping me work through my rehab. Everyone at the facility is helpful and kind!

Mike has worked with me to patiently understand my pain and limits. He is very knowledgeable and professional and skillfully tailors my PT to get me back to my active lifestyle. Nick has created a welcoming environment of experts who interact kindly with their patients.

I did NOT want to get PT for my arthritic hip but everyone told me I should so, ok ok I’m going already! And I’m SO glad I did. In just the first session, Mike worked wonders on my hip and I came away walking better and feeling better than I have in weeks! Now I’m looking forward to continued therapy and full recovery. This place is modern, clean, bright and cheerful. Every staff member I interacted with was professional and friendly. Highly recommend this Shelton facility. Update July 2026: i needed PT once again; this time for my leg. I developed neuropathy and muscle atrophy because of radiation to my leg. The PTSMC therapists have been outstanding once again. During my initial evaluation, Nick accurately identified the specific muscle weaknesses contributing to my pain and designed a targeted exercise program. After only two weeks of therapy, the improvement has been remarkable. My leg and knee pain have decreased enough that I’ve reduced my painkiller use to the bare minimum. Even the severe nighttime coldness in my feet from neuropathy—which frequently woke me from sleep—has largely resolved. Once again, I’m genuinely impressed by both the expertise of the therapists and the effectiveness of my treatment.

The Shelton PTSMC team guided me and two other family members through successful recoveries. They are cautions and thorough in their approach. Physical therapy can be boring, but that didn't happen here, due to the very creative way exercises were combined to make the process both effective and fun.

I have had my share of therapy over the years. Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine at Shelton is by far the best place I have used. Catherine is terrific. I began therapy all hunched over and barely walking and now can play pickleball. Thank you, Catherine!

My husband and I have been going for awhile , I total knee replacement September 9 after my home therapy I started going we both love it there Nick Mike and Jane they are awesome so easy to talk to. They are so knowledgeable. no matter what you ask, it always have the correct answer. I spoke with Mike today and asked him about where to purchase some items for when I do my exercising at home. I’m just so happy that I’m getting better and so is my husband as well thank you Nick Mike and Jane

I went to PTSMC for 6-8 weeks for an issue that I thought was sciatica. Everyone who helped me was great to work with, but special shout out to Katherine for really understanding the underlying mechanics of my issue. I am so much better and highly recommend this practice!

Best PT ever!!! They fixed problems I had had for years (even after seeing other PTs). They also taught me what to do to prevent recurrence. Can’t recommend enough!!

I have been going here for approximately 4 months after back surgery. Nick and his staff are wonderful. Especially my therapist Chris Patrick. Chris worked with me one on one to help me achieve my goal of walking without assistance. Chris is very knowledgeable and a great guy. I would highly recommend this place to anyone needing physical therapy. They treat you like family. I will always go here for any future physical therapy needs.

I was suffering from bppv from 4 weeks .Katherine PT, she did a fantastic job .she is very kind and ready to help . I did 2 sessions with her and I already got improvement .she also gave me some exercises to do at home .My symptoms are getting better and better . I must say thankyou to PT Katherine for her great work she is very professional. NICK and his team are doing excellent work. Thankyou again PTSMC

Really grateful to Michael and the whole team at PTSMC Shelton--they've been skilled, professional, encouraging, welcoming, and kind, and are already helping me feel a lot better. Scheduling is a breeze, and Michael really focuses on how I'm feeling and what's holding me back. My only regret is that I didn't come in sooner!

I am so pleased with Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine. When I first arrived, I was struggling to walk through the pain in my knee. After three weeks, I am now able to walk comfortably. Nick is extremely knowledgeable and motivating.

PTSMC provides a welcoming and supportive attitude to help their clients succeed in overcoming their injuries and feel better. The facility is light, clean and airy. They provide private therapy rooms and an open gym area. As someone who suffers from chronic pain I am so grateful for having found this facility.
