I got help pre and post surgery at PTSMC, the staff is unbelievably professional, knowledgeable and friendly. They put their patients first above all else and make sure you get back to 100%. Every therapist there has helped me at one point or another through my healing process. I would highly recommend to anyone.
I can’t wait to get injured again just to go back!!

Overall a great experience with people who care. Tom and Ashlee listen to my needs and worked to develop a comprehensive plan to address my issues and work with me during the course of treatment to continually assess and address things. I had the pleasure of working with everyone onsite and the care provided is excellent. I would highly recommend.

I have been working with Ashlee and Tom and they are the most hardworking, passionate, caring and supportive people. My recovery has been very challenging. I had no hope that I was going to ever hit my milestones or get better. However they showed me otherwise. For example when I first met Ashley and Tom I couldn’t walk at all pretty much now I’m walking a little over 80 feet and I’ve only been here for about 2.5 months. They have been like family to me. I could never ask for a more perfect Physical Therapist. If you are like me and are trying to find a place that is comfortable, welcoming, caring, hardworking, and most importantly dedicated then this place is it.

This is my 2nd shoulder repair with pre-op and post-op therapy done by the team at PTSMC. Tom & Ashley are my regular therapists, and they have been fantastic to work with. I can also say that the entire staff are very friendly, knowledgeable and provide a very relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. As difficult as recovery is from an extensive shoulder repair, therapy at PTSMC is always an enjoyable experience. 100% recommend the staff at PTSMC.

At PTSMC in Putnam I worked with Kelly, who has been wonderful and truly helped get my hip pain under control! She went at a good pace to push me to strengthen my hip muscles to help prevent future hip injuries, and always reassessed the work plan when my pain flared up. 10/10 would see her again if I get injured again, but hopefully I won't. The rest of the staff at PTSMC in Putnam is also knowledgeable, kind, and professional!

These folks are just Amazing! Doctor Micaela Nowacki is one of the best therapists in the Northeast! My recovery time has been cut in half because of her expertise.

I was referred to a Physical Therapist by my Neurosurgeon due to pain from my L5 / S1 disc. I requested that the referral be sent to Tom at PTSMC because I've had great experiences with other sessions. Tom took about 15 minutes of LISTENING to the history of my problem and deduced it was not my disc, but an issue with something else. He immediately described what he believed was causing my pain and explained HOW he would be able to help me. Thoroughly explaining what he was about to do, he made an "adjustment"
in my pelvic bones and I felt immediate relief. We then decided to take the exercise and stretching approach for the next 2 weeks. After 4 sessions and plenty of home workouts, I'm happy to say that I'm feeling awesome!! Thanks to Tom and his staff for caring and compassionate treatment that worked! I will continue to refer all friends and family to Tom and his staff.

I went to Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine Center in Putnam, CT with an oblique strain and back issues. I was thoroughly evaluated and provided with stretching exercises that I could do at home . It was easy to schedule appointments that fit my schedule. Everyone was friendly and helpful. If my back issues return, I'll call them again.

This was my first time going to physical therapy and it has been the most wonderful experience so far! I have been going here for the past month, and each visit has been so positive. Tom and the entire staff are all welcoming and considerate to ensure that you feel comfortable and safe during your healing journey. They are all well knowledged and friendly. I have learned so much about my injury and body in the short time that I have visited. You can tell how close and trusting the staff are with their clients because of all the laughter that fills the air. I highly recommend anyone considering physical therapy to visit here, as I’m sure it’ll be a positive experience for all.

After several surgeries i have final had results with Tom suggesting dry needling. I have had a long run over the last two years and now on the mend.

I highly recommend PTSMC of Putnam, I am currently being treated for post-op Achilles tendonitis. The staff is very professional and knowledgeable. Twice a week PT has me on the road to recovery and feeling stronger everyday. The staff takes the time to hear my issues and address them. Can't say enough positive things about the center. Always a smile and friendly greet on arrival and making sure I am good to go when leaving. I was also treated for Achilles tendonitis before surgery, a truly wonderful group of professionals.

A great practice! My primary physical therapist is awesome...she has a great sense of humor, an understanding of my condition, and empathy and consideration when the pain is overwhelming.

I just finished 6 weeks of PT for a lower back issue and I feel great! I worked with Kyleen and Kelli and both were great! Kyleen gave me home exercises to do and was great at explaining things. If I had to do PT again I would definitely go back!

The entire staff was very professional but the atmosphere was relaxed and friendly. If the need ever arose I would certainly come back again.

My son started seeing Micaela when he was 3 months old until recently when he graduated; Which was bitter sweet because Micaela is the absolute best! She helped my son tremendously and I am so grateful he was able to work with her, she was always very thorough and made sure to explain everything. Whenever my son would meet a milestone we were working on she would get just as excited as I would, you can tell she has such a passion for what she does! Everyone else is great as well, they always had a smile on their face and it’s just a great atmosphere to be in!

My physical therapy at Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine Center was excellent. I gained strength and my hip feels great. I have exercises I will continue to do to keep my hip in good condition. The Therapists there are a great group. They really care about us patients

Great experience, with a great team. Very professional and friendly. They worked wonders on my arm before and after tendon surgery. The staff worked hard with my Ins and surgeon. I would recommend this facility highly.

This is my go-to place for physical therapy. Tom, the director, is as good as PT pros get. No matter what you need he and his amazing team will get you there. So thankful to have this resource in our community.

I had shoulder surgery in March. My surgeon left his practice 2 weeks after my surgery, so I was left without any guidance on how I should progress. Tom and his team stepped in and took excellent care of me and I have recovered 100%. I would recommend them to anyone.

I came here because they had the soonest available appointment despite twice the distance than the nearest to me. After my initial visit I didn't think twice about staying with this office throughout my rehabilitation.
Several different personalities, all pleasant, friendly, and professional. The office was super understanding and accommodating when I had 2 occasions where last minute cancelations or needed to flex my appointment time.
If I ever have to run another course of PT, this is where you'll find me.

I’ve been going to these wonderful people for years for various issues and they’ve always taken great care of me. By the time you are done they will have made you feel like family. We always have some great laughs and conversations!!! You guys are the best!!
