I have been helped so much by the caring staff of PTSMC. My pain physically and emotionally has been addressed with kindness and understanding. I am feeling so much better and hopeful for the future.

Just finished a round of PT with Tom. He is really on top of things: Well informed accompanied by a broad perspective. He was able to break down my MFI report and communicates the news better than my doctor (great metaphors for what is actually going on with my knee).

Great place, went from having no feeling in my foot to walking & jumping in less then a month. Everyone is very nice, social, and funny especially Kelly! Couldn’t recommend more.

Everyone is friendly and very serious about positive outcomes for their patients, with some humor to help through the pain of recovery.

Highly recommend Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine Center. I'm not from the area but was going to be staying local post shoulder surgery. This place was recommended to me. What a fantastic experience! All the therapists are exceptional kind and compassionate. And they are like a big family which was great to witness.
I was even given a graduation present!

I've gone here for sciatic, two rotator cuff surgeries and now my neck. I've seen all the therapists. They are all fantastic! They're very knowledgeable, thorough and friendly. I can't say enough about them and refer everyone I know to them. Their adminstrative staff do a great job too.

Wonderful group of therapists here. I've used their services 4 times over the years for different rehabs. I would never go anywhere else. They're incredibly patient as well as knowledgeable & professional. Have no fear - you won't be sorry!

I highly recommend PTSMC of Putnam, I am currently being treated for post-op Rotator Cuff repair. The staff is very professional and knowledgeable. Twice a week PT has me on the road to recovery and feeling stronger everyday. Can't say enough positive things about the center. Always a smile and friendly greet upon arrival. Just a great place to have so close to home.

I was injured while on vacation I dislocated my shoulder and was going to need PT. I had no idea what to expect but I was very pleasantly surprised by the professional support I was given here, a million thanks to the entire staff for helping me rehabilitate my injury and get back in the gym and teaching me what I would need to strengthen my shoulder and avoid injuries in the future.

I got help pre and post surgery at PTSMC, the staff is unbelievably professional, knowledgeable and friendly. They put their patients first above all else and make sure you get back to 100%. Every therapist there has helped me at one point or another through my healing process. I would highly recommend to anyone.

Overall a great experience with people who care. Tom and Ashlee listen to my needs and worked to develop a comprehensive plan to address my issues and work with me during the course of treatment to continually assess and address things. I had the pleasure of working with everyone onsite and the care provided is excellent. I would highly recommend.

I have been working with Ashlee and Tom and they are the most hardworking, passionate, caring and supportive people. My recovery has been very challenging. I had no hope that I was going to ever hit my milestones or get better. However they showed me otherwise. For example when I first met Ashley and Tom I couldn’t walk at all pretty much now I’m walking a little over 80 feet and I’ve only been here for about 2.5 months. They have been like family to me. I could never ask for a more perfect Physical Therapist. If you are like me and are trying to find a place that is comfortable, welcoming, caring, hardworking, and most importantly dedicated then this place is it.

This is my 2nd shoulder repair with pre-op and post-op therapy done by the team at PTSMC. Tom & Ashley are my regular therapists, and they have been fantastic to work with. I can also say that the entire staff are very friendly, knowledgeable and provide a very relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. As difficult as recovery is from an extensive shoulder repair, therapy at PTSMC is always an enjoyable experience. 100% recommend the staff at PTSMC.

At PTSMC in Putnam I worked with Kelly, who has been wonderful and truly helped get my hip pain under control! She went at a good pace to push me to strengthen my hip muscles to help prevent future hip injuries, and always reassessed the work plan when my pain flared up. 10/10 would see her again if I get injured again, but hopefully I won't. The rest of the staff at PTSMC in Putnam is also knowledgeable, kind, and professional!

These folks are just Amazing! Doctor Micaela Nowacki is one of the best therapists in the Northeast! My recovery time has been cut in half because of her expertise.

I was referred to a Physical Therapist by my Neurosurgeon due to pain from my L5 / S1 disc. I requested that the referral be sent to Tom at PTSMC because I've had great experiences with other sessions. Tom took about 15 minutes of LISTENING to the history of my problem and deduced it was not my disc, but an issue with something else. He immediately described what he believed was causing my pain and explained HOW he would be able to help me. Thoroughly explaining what he was about to do, he made an "adjustment"
in my pelvic bones and I felt immediate relief. We then decided to take the exercise and stretching approach for the next 2 weeks. After 4 sessions and plenty of home workouts, I'm happy to say that I'm feeling awesome!! Thanks to Tom and his staff for caring and compassionate treatment that worked! I will continue to refer all friends and family to Tom and his staff.

I went to Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine Center in Putnam, CT with an oblique strain and back issues. I was thoroughly evaluated and provided with stretching exercises that I could do at home . It was easy to schedule appointments that fit my schedule. Everyone was friendly and helpful. If my back issues return, I'll call them again.
