My PT, Rick Purdy, has helped me so much with my knee pain. He spent time diagnosing me and developed a plan for stretching and strengthening. He has been charting my progress and adapting my exercises based on how I’m doing each week. And he’s a super nice guy, very friendly and encouraging.

I love this place. Everyone so friendly and respectful and my therapist. Mary is the best. I give her 10 stars if I could. She's so soft-spoken, she attentive and she goes right to business right to work. And she's so light and gentle when touching you and moving your body parts and things that in my mind I felt like what is she doing? She's doing nothing but in the end. When I tell you you walk out of there, you're feeling great. You're starting to feel better already. Mary is wonderful therapist and I'm sure the rest are too, and my main thing is that I like that. My therapy sessions are behind closed. Doors, I sort of don't like being in the open with other people. That kind of way, but it's really wonderful over there. If you ever need a therapist, go over there, give it a try..

I truly appreciate my therapist, Amy; they are attentive and make me feel fully heard during each session. The entire staff, including the receptionist, is welcoming and kind, which creates a very positive experience overall.

With physical therapist Andrew Perazella, I had ten PT sessions to rebuild my strength after a long hospitalization. Andrew was terrific. He instructed me in exercises that improved my walking, strengthened various muscles, and enabled me to mount my bicycle without difficulty. He had a good sense of the exercises that would help me recover quickly. Over the past eight years, I have gone to Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine Centers in New Haven for four different problems. In each case, the therapy I received was effective and well organized.

Rick Purdy and the team at PTSMC in New Haven are extremely professional, responsive and thorough. Rick has helped me through vertigo challenges, he makes the time to see me on short notice when he has a full schedule because my world is spinning. I highly recommend Rick and applaud the entire team for their person centered care.

His diagnosis and treatment has been very effective. I was seen on time and see the same therapist at each session. I highly recommend this group of physical therapists.

I had a really great experience at PTSMC. It's highly efficient, seeing patients very quickly after referral and working with them to find the best times for appointments. All the staff are incredibly professional, highly qualified, and very friendly. If you've got to have physio, this is a great option!

Excellent place. The staff is very friendly and cares deeply about their patients. I had a full evaluation before starting therapy and explained everything clearly. The physical therapist was always concerned about my improvement, especially since I play soccer every weekend. I never waited more than five minutes in the waiting room, which was great. Very recommended!

This is the best physical therapy clinic I've been to! The staff is incredibly friendly and professional. They're very organized and make you feel right at home. After just a few visits, my chronic arm pain was significantly reduced.

I liked the place, the people are friendly, the therapist Sam Zhu was very kind and explained everything I needed to know.

Everyone here is very kind and encouraging. I was at my lowest both mentally and physically and my ego would get bruised early on because I had lost so much muscle due to an illness and couldnt lift a fraction of what I could in the past. I say all this because they were very non-judgmental and assured me its perfectly human to be weak after an illness or injury and I appreciated it!

I hurt my lower back a few months ago, and was referred here for physical therapy. The environment here is great, my PT Sam was very professional and helpful. After a few sessions, my pain became significantly better.
