I can't express enough how grateful I am to have found Dave as my physical therapist. For years, I have struggled with chronic acute migraines that seemed impossible to manage. I had tried everything – countless pills, injections, and even Botox treatments, but nothing brought lasting relief. I was skeptical when I first went to see Dave, honestly, thinking it was just another attempt with little hope of success.

But after just one session with him, my entire perspective changed. Dave was able to quickly identify the underlying cause of my migraines and immediately began treating it. The results were remarkable – after that first session, I noticed a significant reduction in the frequency and intensity of my migraines. It felt like a weight had been lifted off my shoulders.

What stands out the most about Dave is his approach. He is incredibly attentive, always listening to my symptoms, and adjusting the treatment based on what my body needs. He truly takes the time to understand and tailor each session to my progress, making me feel cared for and heard.

Thanks to Dave, my quality of life has improved dramatically. I’m finally able to live without the constant burden of migraines, and I can't thank him enough for that. His expertise, compassion, and commitment to my well-being have made all the difference, and I’m incredibly grateful to be treated by him.

Professional and Knowledgable.

My therapist, Dave, first diagnosed my situation and then built a course of treatment. During the first few visits he assigned me exercises to relieve pain and improve flexibility. After achieving this milestone, we began a regimen of improving strength in the affected areas. I am very pleased with the results. I found their staff to be talented and very friendly.

Very knowledgeable care!

I received physical therapy at PTSMC in Guilford in January and February, 2024. Having had knee surgery (miniscus) years ago, I was experiencing sharp pain in the same knee. My therapist, Quinn McAnaney, devised a highly successful treatment plan that had me pain free in a relatively short time. Each member of the staff I interacted with was friendly, and the facility was clean and well equipped. I have no hesitation in rating them a 5 STAR health care provider! Chuck C.

I had a bad knee and I was in a lot of pain. I did not get any relief after going to a Chiropractor. Waste of money! Physical therapy and Sports medicine therapists were very helpful and they were able to get my pain under control. I highly recommend them, especially the PTSMC in Guilford- Zachary C was very thorough and knowledgeable and provided excellent care.

I had a hip replacement in 2019 and followed that up with a full knee replacement in 2023. I trusted my full recovery with PTSMC in Guilford. My PT Zack C. worked closely with me on both recoveries, reassuring me that I would recover, and then working to make that promise a reality. We were partners in both the physical and mental recovery to allow me to return to an active lifestyle. I appreciate and thank PTSMC and Zack for their expertise and guidance.

Highly skilled professionals provide expert guidance to get you back to where you were before an injury, surgery, etc. Staff is genuinely interested in ensuring proper care and motivation is provided. After experiencing an injury on two separate occasions, it was comforting to know Steve and his trained professionals were available to perform and provide solutions to get me back to being pain free and ready to resume activities.

I came to PTSMC Guilford for outpatient PT following a Total Knee Replacement. The "front desk" is very helpful and responsive in getting everything set up. The actual therapy experience is, if possible, even better. My DPT is excellent; I always feel the massage, manipulation, and exercises are tuned to my situation and progress, and that I understand what is going on. The PTs, who apparently support everyone simultaneously, are great; making sure no one is standing around wondering what to do next and providing coaching on technique and form. I know some people dread or even hate PT because of the inevitable pain and fatigue, but I really look forward to it. The supportive environment makes me feel good and, more important, I always feel I am progressing. I am a very happy patient and would recommend PTSMC Guilford without reservation.

Knowledgeable & professional

I went to PT and sports medicine of Guilford, unable to walk and struggling with a rolling walker. I left, carrying the rolling walker, and within three days was walking independently. Obviously, my whole problem did not go away in a single visit, but it was amazingly liberating. They know exactly what they’re about and they do it very effectively in a very congenial environment.

Had a very serious ski injury (double shoulder) and have been so impressed with this practice. From front office, support staff and Steve (PT), all top notch helping me significantly speed up my recovery.

As I've reported previously, there is a big difference when going to Guilford Physical Therapy &Sports Medicine compared to other facilities I've used. They are compassionate in their care and very patient when explaining the different exercises. I'm a senior citizen and appreciate it as I've been insulted at another facility when I couldn't remember the three exercises he threw at me all at once. Even the staff at the front desk are friendly and always polite. Also, there's plenty of parking compared to other places.
