I can’t say enough good things about my experience with Glastonbury PTSMC. All of the staff from front desk to the floor were a pleasure to interact with. I worked with Mike P and from the very beginning, he went above and beyond anything I could have hoped for in a physical therapist. He is incredibly kind, thoughtful, intelligent, and something that stood out was how much he takes the time to teach and make sure you understand your body and your recovery.

Mike made me feel comfortable and supported from the start. He listens, he cares, and you can tell he genuinely wants the best outcome for the people he works with. On top of that, we had a lot of fun chatting about life! He is one of those rare providers who is not only excellent at what he does, but also an exceptional human being.

GPTSMC has some amazing staff and Mike is truly a gem. I’m grateful to have worked with him and I will return if the need ever arises. Additionally, I will be referring others here because of how good my experience was.

Im so happy with Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine Centers in Glastonbury, CT! My PT therapist is amazing and so is the rest of the support staff. Extremely knowledgeable, competent and kind is the best way to describe the great staff. They have a great upbeat attitude and make it a fun place to do PT! I also like thier emphasis on getting back to not only improvement and also to be able to do sports activities as well.

Amazing staff and environment! Spent 4 months post op rehabbing shoulder surgery and it was the best PT experience I’ve ever had. Always had plenty of one on one time with the physical therapist as their only patient and then would finish my exercises with the aids who were all wonderful! Such a positive environment, very clean and up to date, with a wide variety of tools/exercises. Hoping to never need to go back but definitely would- 10/10 recommend.

My physical therapist Becca was absolutely amazing. I went in with my dominant arm not able to bare weight with very limited mobility, and severe neck pain after a car accident. Over the last few months Becca has helped me feel like myself again. I always felt heard about any concerns I was having, or pain I'd experience at home or work. Besides Becca, the entire staff is so friendly. I have always felt a warm welcoming presence. I am thrilled to be done with ot, however I will miss Becca and everyone's friendly faces!

I received wonderful care due to an excellent treatment plan for my sprained ankle at Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine Centers. Jeff and Brian did a tremendous job working with me along with setting me up with a regimen of home exercises to help my ankle to continually improve. I would highly recommend Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine Centers to anyone in need.

I’m absolutely sure that the environment matters—a lot. I felt very comfortable in this place. What a great team you have! From the receptionist to the cleaning staff, the manager, the therapists, the students—the entire space is so welcoming. Everyone there offers excellent service. The kindness and willingness to help are truly a 10 out of 10. The peace and calm you feel there is incredible. If I ever need therapy again, I would definitely choose this place. I recently went to PTSMC in Glastonbury for rehab after my total knee replacement & I would definitely recommend them. My therapist Mike was knowledgeable, encouraging & caring. All the staff were professional & friendly. After 3 1/2 months I feel ready & confident to continue my rehab progress on my own.

working with Mike Popolizio with my reverse total shoulder replacement was very pleasant. I can't say enough about his professional behavior and his patience with me. the whole staff is very friendly, Mike gave me plenty of home exercises and explained how to perform them correctly . I am happy to be on the road to recovery.

Brian is a muscle/body whisperer. Incredibly knowledgeable and sensitive. I improved from session to session. Best physical trainer by far I’ve ever had.

Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine has by far the most knowledgeable, professional therapist I have worked with.

Completed therapy today, and while I feel wonderful and I’m grateful for that, I will miss the team here. Especially Jeff and Carlos.

I have so much gratitude for Brian and his team. What an amazing experience from the minute I walked through the door for my initial consult until I completed my physical therapy for a lower back injury. On every visit, the front desk team greeted me with a wonderful smile and a gracious hello, not to mention the ease of scheduling my appointments. My time spent with Brian and his team helped heal my lower back, strengthening it and relieving me of the pain that had persisted for many months. I left confidently, knowing I could resume the activities I loved, like running and hiking. I highly recommend PTSMC! The BEST!!!

This practice is fabulous. Brian is an inspired leader, and all of the therapists, aides and clients seem happy to be there. The atmosphere is both collegial and professional, and the work is effective. Most people I've spoken to say that they'd return in a heartbeat if they needed work done.

Was referred here after I fractured my foot. They were absolutely incredible! I honestly enjoyed my time here, did some great exercises to help heal, and learned some things to do at home. My foot feels amazing! Thank you!

The staff are really nice, friendly, and knowledgable. The facility is condensed and very well equipped to work on all physical therapy needs. My customized plan was tailored for my specific injury and I use a wide variety of equipment for strengthening and stretching. I highly recommend.

I had my right knee replaced in August 2024. After going to a totally different PT office, I stumbled on PT&SMC in Glastonbury CT.
From day 1 I knew it was the right choice. Michael was my primary Therapist. He was very professional and attentive to my situation. After the initial base line was set he began to do what he does best. His plan was extremely well thought out and challenging for me.
He was totally knowledgeable and easy to talk to. It became clear I had made the right phone call. Michael answered any questions I had and was open to any and every concern I threw at him.
I am scheduled to get my left knee replaced in late January and I plan on giving PT& SC a call for my PT rehab.
Michael may not be in a class by himself, but it sure doesn’t take long to take attendance.

You can't beat Glastonbury PTSM..their therapist are awesome and the individual attention is exceptional. I drive 45 min just to be able to be seen by them. It's definitely worth the ride!

Really enjoyed my time here. Becca and the rest of the crew were super friendly and helped me get back to the volleyball court after recovering from a partial torn meniscus. Definitely recommend this place as they do care about your progress and what is comfortable for you.

I was recently treated at PTSMC Glastonbury for a running-related injury, and I was extremely satisfied with the treatment I received. All of the employees, from the physical therapists themselves, to the PT aides and secretarial staff, were very friendly and amiable, and most importantly, provided me with very good care, both in the office and out. I recently finished my time there, am back to running, and continuing PT on my own time at home, but I now have no problem doing so after getting comfortable with the nature of the injury while being treated at PTSMC, plus knowing that I can reach out to them at any time. This would be my first choice for treatment in the future, and I would highly recommend to anyone in need of physical therapy treatment!

Michael P. was excellent to work with! He gave me great exercises to help me recover after knee surgery. It was challenging but at the same time he was kind and gentle and funny and friendly. I definitely recommend him and this PT office!

Had Tendinopathy in my knee after an injury which caused a lot of pain during my leg exercises and other physical activity. After a few months of Physical Therapy my knee pain has drastically reduced and I'm back to doing Front Squats, Lunges, and other physical activity with little to no pain. Thanks PTSMC 🏋‍♂️

Having never completed physical therapy before, I wasn’t sure what to expect. I was training for a half marathon and started to experience some hamstring pain and I was worried I wasn’t going to be able to run the race I had trained so hard for. With the help of Brian and the rest of the staff, I was able to run the half marathon and significantly improved my hamstring issues! The staff is extremely kind and welcoming. The facility is run very smoothly and has a wide range of different equipment that the therapists utilize. I couldn’t be happier with my decision to receive care here. I would highly recommend PTSMC of Glastonbury!

Had a great experience with them after requiring PT from a fractured tibia. When I first came in I was fully dependent on a wheelchair. I had not been weight bearing for the past 2 months. By the end of the second week with them I was walking with a walker and able to do stairs. By the fourth week was walking just with a cane! Everyone there was kind, knowledgeable and easy to talk to. They pushed me just enough to see major progress each week, while making sure I was within my limits. I would definitely recommend Glastonbury PT and sports medicine center for those in need! Plus they are very close to the local Starbucks as an added benefit :)

Recently received excellent care at the Glastonbury location. It was convenient to get to and the staff was friendly and efficient. I worked with Mike who was knowledgeable and very good at what he does. I would highly recommend this office and therapist. The best news is my back is feeling great!

Rebecca was my therapist, and did an excellent job addressing my issues with my neck and knee pain. She is a competent therapist who worked with me over the last few months to help my neck and knees become pain free and increased my strength. I have to say, the entire staff was very friendly and professional, and I highly recommend this Physical Therapy Center!

After recurring low back muscle strains resulting in great pain, lack of mobility, missed work, and perhaps worst of all, the inability to play golf, I began working with PTSMC of Glastonbury. My muscle strains occurred for reasons as simple as bending over to pick up something as light as a feather, and were serious enough to even result in one short hospitalization.

The assessment was thorough, giving the therapists a solid idea of what movements triggered my pain and a clear plan of treatment. Working with both Brian and Mike, I learned how to first of all relieve some of the pain with stretches and light exercises. We then began incorporating exercises that focused on strengthening muscles that I’d never before considered important to preventing low back pain, but soon learned to be vital to preventing future occurrences. I’m happy to say that I am now back in the gym doing exercises that I’ve not been able to do in several years, and am playing golf several times a week with no issues.

The staff and all of the therapists are knowledgeable, welcoming, and truly celebrated my success, almost as much as I did myself.
