This is my first time using Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine in Essex. Everyone is super nice! The main reason I chose this group is because they work with you one on one. So many other places I have been to give you exercises to do on your own and then you don't see them. I felt like I was part of the herd. So I would highly recommend this group. At 77 years old and in therapy for a total knee replacement I knew this was the right place for me. You will be happy with this group if you ever need physical therapy. I would give them 10 stars if I could!!

I am very pleased with the knowledge of the PT Personnel. They spend sufficient time with you and provide illustrated pictures of the exercises you are doing. They are knowledgeable and spend a great deal of time working with you.

I highly recommend PTSMC - Essex. Staff are very knowledgeable, professional and pleasant.

I can't say enough about Craig, Mac, and crew. I incurred a severe strain of the MCL in my right knee. I was on crutches & in pain. After a few weeks they got me out of pain and almost back to normal. They are accommodating with scheduling, very knowledgeable, work together extremely well, and are always smiling.

Craig and the other PTs are extremely knowledgeable, patient and kind. They've helped me recover and get back to normal activities.

Both my daughter and I have had recent surgeries and PTSM has been spot on in our recovery. Greatly appreciate their insight and drive to reaching our goals!

The facility itself is very accessible, with plenty of parking. Check in is easy, with little waiting. The therapy area is large and open and kept very clean. Perhaps what’s most important is the quality and attentiveness of the experienced staff, who work well together as a cohesive and friendly team, and are positive and encouraging to their patients.

"Great, committed therapists. Thank you." I wrote the above review a long time ago, before I was fully able to determine the effects of my sessions. Time has gone by, and now I can say with happiness and gratitude that the issues that seemed completely insurmountable at the time are now almost a distant memory—I am barely aware of the painful knee issues that took me to PTSM in the beginning. I can only imagine the number of other happy patients that pass through their caring, professional hands, who have also improved their lives. A BIG thank you to Craig Katco and the ENTIRE staff that helped me see the path to recovery.

I have been in therapy for back pain for three weeks and have already made tremendous progress. Reduced pain and greatly improved strength and flexibility. I highly recommend this facility.

29 Feb 2024. The professional PTs are attentive & very complete in administering total physical therapy care. The large therapy room is clean, & orderly, generally quiet. Mack ,one of the PT aides is absolutely excellent -knows how to work w people; clear concise directions. This is not just another exercise gym. Generally, things run on time, almost no waiting. Therapists and staff are caring, friendly, qualified, and attentive. Always on time. It is never pleasant to have physical issues, but it is wonderful to be able to go to a place like this that exhudes good vibes and positivity. Highly recommended.

Experienced, talented and concientious therapists! I’ve been to this practice following two different injuries and have gotten better than back to normal both times.

I came for Physical Therapy because of a knee problem. After consultation with Ann Hall PT, she said that it was not my knee, it was my hip. After many stretching exercises I no longer have knee pain at night. At her suggestion I will be making an appointment with a hip Doctor.

I used this facility to recuperate from two knee replacements 4 months apart. Jules is extremely professional and I felt that I could trust her knowledge and plan for my program. The atmosphere is busy but positive and accommodating. I would not hesitate to recommend physical therapy at this location.

This is a very busy p.t. establishment. Each patient has an individualized plan of therapy. The therapists and staff are all very professional, yet friendly.

I have been scheduling appointments here to get help improving mobility and knee issues and have had great results.

The staff here are caring and knowledgeable. Craig Katco is professional and informative and got me feeling great again!
